This reputation is particularly strong in the refit and refurbishment of Super Yachts where the company has undertaken difficult repair work and achieved above average results. Based in Auckland, New Zealand, the company undertakes projects within their factory premises at the Orams Marine Village, on site within the Repair Yards, or onboard the client's vessel. Holton Marine engineers gained their wide experience, skills and expertise in these disciplines through their working on major marine construction projects in Australia, England, South Africa and New Zealand. The principals of the company, Rodney and Andrew Holton have been involved in lofting, fabrication, hull construction, hull plating and wheeling, welding of aluminum and steel, and specialized marine systems since 1984. Many of the engineers employed by the company have been involved in the boat building industry for over 30 years, received their training in Holland, England, Italy and the United States of America and bring to the company a wealth of knowledge and experience in boat building and repair from small craft to super yachts and all methods of construction.
